Dans cette liste, les noms forment aussi leur pluriel en ajoutant la désinence N, mais pour des raisons d’euphonie on intercale un E avent le N.
C’est le cas pour :
– après les diphtongues comme EY, AY, OY,
– lorsque le nom se termine déjà par N ou M
– lorsque le nom se termine déjà par plusieurs de consonnes ce qui rend l’ajout du N difficilement prononçable.
